We had a nice conversation about a month ago. I just
recieved approval on my concept to utilize your illustrations.

So, I just bought 15 retro illustrations from your web site.

Great prices and discount. Your art will feature predominately
in the 8 page catalog I'm designing for my client.

I'll e-mail you a sample when it's finished.

Obviously, I'm not terribly tech-savy, and I'm thinking now that I would like to have purchased and downloaded the images that I can use to overlay on top of other images.  These are the EPS versions, correct?  I wanted to download the EPS version of the "retro cat" (with circle around him) if possible.  Thanks again, so very much.  I've already recommended your site to two friends of mine :-)

Hi Tony,
thanks to you for your great collection of retro images!

I'm an Italian iOS developer and graphic designer who's been living in Tokyo for 5 years now..
Right now here in Japan we're facing an incredibly hard situation. The earthquake, a 9.0 magnitude, was the worst thing I've ever experienced. But honestly, it's absolutely nothing compared to what happened in the north east. More than 15.000 people died or are missing, and many, many more lost everything.

However, the foreign media are doing a terrible job, especially channels like CNN or Fox News are distorting the news to create sensationalistic headlines. The nuclear power plant situation is dangerous, but there's no need to worry here in Tokyo.

There's no exodus of Japanese people leaving Tokyo.. people are still going to work, kids going to school, everything looks quite normal besides some empty shelves in the supermarket and danger of blackout (that fortunately has still to happen in the city). Some foreigners have decided to leave, but many other, like me, are staying, because this is our home now and we want to help each other, especially in this moment of crisis.
Turning my back and running away from this wonderful country, really, it's something I couldn't absolutely do... but let's hope things will get better soon.

By the way, if you're interested, I have a photoblog about daily life here in Japan (not post card style photos), you can check it out here: www.reallyjapan.com

I purchased a few pieces of your artwork and I love them. I incorporated some stars into my logo and now need to provide my sign maker with an Illustrator file.

I'm not very good with Illustrator and was wondering if I were to send you my business card art I did in Photoshop would you be able to convert it into an Illustrator file. The words and the stars need to be in an Illustrator File in order for the sign maker to blow it up without distortion.

I believe it is a matter of combining the Photoshop file with the Illustrator file so the final file is an Illustrator file which is what the sign maker would like. What would something like that cost?

I am attaching my business card for you to look at.

Thank you,
Lana Shartle
